These are a few stories which you might consider posting.
They are true, and to the best of my ability told acurately.
Hi I'm Tristen, I'm 20 years old and have a fascination with
the paranormal, always have. Some people are drawn to
strange occurances, and have abilities to have spirits drawn
to them. I really don't know if I am one of these, but I
have no doubt that what I remember is true.
When I was about 15, I was living in a duplex in Cheyenne. A
small house, and often you could hear the neighbor watching
T.V. or flushing the toilet. During this time I a had a
Ouija Board, my friends and I played it often. (One friend
refused to come in my room as long as it was around).
Through the board I learned of a spirit named C.T. Who was
often more my guardian, then a burden. When I was ill, or
something bad was happening he was there, but he was
michevious too hiding clothing, and moving my books. You
couldn't always see him, but a few of my friends had seen
him, they all described him the same, (1800's English riding
clothes) and many I had never told about him.
This carachter would come to follow me around for a while.
Next door to us was an older gentlemen. He was a veteran of
the war (I'm not sure which one, I believe Vietnam). He was
a very nice man, but not all content with his life. He was
on oxygen , and continued to smoke ciggarettes, and was
often at the V.A. bar drinking. He would wake up early, and
would wave to me on my way to the bus stop around 6:00 am.
Every morning he was there. On a friday morning I left as
usual, and waved, to my friend, he tapped the glass and
waved in return smiling, just as we had every other morning
that week. I returned home that day to see his daughter's
car, and his grand children, but he was nowhere to be found.
My mom told me he had died last Tuesday, she hadn't known.
She told me later she could still hear the toilet flush and
the T.V. up loud after that. No one had move in yet, and all
his posessions were no longer there. The next people only
lived there a few weeks due to an insect problem, that
hadn't previously been.
My other encounter is in Utah. I was 19 and going to Job
corps. It was an uneasy enviroment to live in. We were
mainly in barracs, and little to no privacy. Not much really
seperated the rooms, and we all slept in these giant
warehouses. The Job corps center was once a base depot from
WWII. Well as I said, I had just arrived and was placed in
my new room, with three other great people!! I had a bad day
and went to bed that night a little upset. I woke up to a
weight on my bed, and thinking it was one of my bunk mates
got up to ask if they were okay. When I opened my eyes, I
was astonished to see a young man in what apeared to be a
green uniform, his cap in his hands. (This was a girls dorm,
No MEN) He gently rubbed my leg and told me everything will
be okay, and gently dissipeared. His name was John, and
had died some times in the 40's around the age of 23, No one
was too sure how. ( a few other's had seen him too.)
Now I have always been able to feel things around me, Very
empathic. Well I was told of a little girl that was often
seen wondering the dorms, and grounds. Nobody said anything
more then, "Little girl", Out of nowhere I said "Pale pink
dress to her kness, and soft brown hair, curled with
ribbons?" . "Have you seen her", I was asked by a friend
who's jaw just dropped open (she had seen her quite a few
times) "No, not yet" I answered.
That was exactly how she looked.
While living in Cheyenne I ran with a unique crowd of
people. We often were in the grave yards, and the like. Well
a friend of mine had access to The base there that was very
historical. We decided late one night to go out the the old
grave yard, on base, established some 100+ years earlier.
Once we got there, I was warned "Do not get out of the car!"
We drove over to a particurlarly old section, and all three
of us saw, in full regalia, a torn soldier. He looked us all
strait, and motioned as if to give the Command "Leave now".
We did not heed his warning. We drove further in. There was
a name that flashed in my head ( I do not remember it now).
"Who is that?" My friend asked. I did not know. The next
day my friend went out the the grave yard, and found the
name on a tomb stone, he died in 1865(?). <around then>
These are just a few that I have encountered. I have a few
others from friends, and so on.
