Hi
I was searching the internet and stumbled upon your
website. I have a ghostly experience that you might
like to know of.
We had just moved into our new house. It was the first
night and I was not tired at all because of being so
hyped about moving. So, I went downstairs to watch TV.
As I walked downstairs, I quietly announced to no one
that I was going to watch TV. The TV clicked on. I
stared at it for a moment and realized it the news. So
I said, "The news is boring." To see what would
happen. The channel numbers changed to 00 and showed
me the TV listings. I moved closer to the TV and
picked up the remote. It seemed like something was
tugging back, as if resisting. I pulled hard and it
released, but I felt a sudden presence that a slightly
angry aura surrounded the place where the remote had
been. It wasn't vengeful, it just seemed mad in the
sense that it was sibling rivalry. Everytime I
accidently lied in that spot, I suddenly felt angry at
having taken the remote when I was the only one there.
So I changed it to a cartoon and the aura was gone.
Everytime I leaned down in that spot, I felt suddenly
happy, contented, carefree, and agreeable.
Two nights later, I was sleeping in my bed when I felt
someone in the room. I dared not open my eyes, but I
felt tugging around the duvet around my neck, like
someone was retucking me in. Before it finished, I
cracked my eye open and it stopped. I saw that I had
kicked the covers below and I was shivering, so the
ghost was tucking me back in. I never thought that
ghosts could grab things, but apparently they can.
Then, one day, I had a friend over and she went into
my bathroom. I heard her yelling at something, but I
didn't know what. When she came out, she was red in
the face in anger, and demanded why I hadn't told her
about my younger sister and why she wasn't in school
now. Shocked, I told her I didn't have a little
sister, and I had not yet told my friend about the
past experiences. I asked her then what happened and
what made her question me. She said that when she got
into the bathroom, the door opened and there stood a
little girl staring at her. My friend was still using
the restroom, so she yelled at her to wait her turn.
When the girl didn't leave, she told her she was
annnoying that she now didn't doubt why I hadn't told
her about the girl. The girl did not budge. So
finally, my friend said, not yelled, that she would
buy her ice cream if she left her alone. She said the
girl smiled, closed the door, and she heard her
running towards where we were. This shocked us both
when we had gotten ice cream, I opened the carton that
night and half was gone, and there was less in there
than what we had left when I placed it in the freezer.
Later that night, my friend claims she heard someone
whispering her name, so she woke me up. When I woke
up, I heard someone say, clearly, quietly and
innocently, with a 4-year-old voice, "Thank you." I
looked around. My friend was in shock. She looked at
our side table and noticed a piece of paper on it. She
picked it up. It was a childish comic of our house. It
showed a little girl walking to a well nearby our
house that I had gone to often to read in peace. The
next frame showed a girl peering into the well, then
her falling in and drowning. I asked parents about
this, and iffily, they told me that 150 years ago,
there was a full well at the back of the house in the
poppy field. Living here at the time was a family.
Their 4 year old girl was quite an adventurer and that
she loved the poppies. One day she didn't come back
from the field, so they embarked into the vast field
to find her. The older sister, who happened to be my
age at the time, was very fond of the girl and that
the girl was fond of the sister back. The sister knew
the well was a favorite place of the girl, so she
looked inside it and found her sister, dead. They
moved quickly to avoid bad omens. When I asked them
how a kid from so long ago would like cartoons, they
guessed that previous kids my age had come and watched
them, absently teaching the little girl how to use the
remote and TV. I believed it.
Since then, I have always felt like an older sister.
I've never seen her, and I think she is shy around me.
My friend is convinced that the girl is on a mission
to annoy all my friends, because similar experiences
have occured with the annoying little sister.
Another suprising event that has occurred more
recently happened about 2 months ago. My boyfriend at
the time had recently broken up with me and I was very
upset. I was sittin on my couch and crying when
suddenly the television turned on and switched to the
news, then the cartoons. I'm sure this is the ghost's
way of comforting me, and it did help.
I apologize for the length of this story, but it's
only because I needed to spill on someone who would
believe me. I would like people to comment on this if
possible. Believe me, it isn't fake. If it was, I
would be publishing it as a fiction story, not a true
one.
Sincerely,
Soul Eater (Tweek)
