Kayla & I
Kayla & I
Me and Kayla got together at her house. We baby sat her brothers and sister.
"Can we watch some movies Robin brought yet??" Ron (her bro) asked impatiently.
"NO not until Joey is sound asleep."Kayla said,"Now let me talk to Lisa on
the phone!"
I walked into the kitchen and I got the movies I brought to show Kayla, I
accidentally dropped The craft so i turned around to get it when I saw an
old lady. Well I wasn't scared we have seen the family lots an old man and
lady.
"ok Kayla movie time."I said and walked around the lady. In the middle we
heard the bathroom door open and close. "Go to bed Joey." Kayla said. No
answer. "Joe", Ron said. "Joey come here right now."I said and as I did the
door opened and an old man came out. He turned and talked to me and them
but we couldn't here him. I said ok and he vanished.
Me and Kayla are used to the old couple now but we have many stories to tell.
The Shrieking Ghost
It all began back in 1994, I was living in Lafayette, Indiana at the time.
I had just started the 7th grade, and was staying the night at my friend
Melissa's house. Her parents both worked nights so her older brother, who
was a senior in high school at the time, was supposed to be watching us.
He was already in bed and Melissa and I were getting ready for bed. Earlier
that evening we had been down in the laundry room, which was located in the
basement, finishing up a load for her Mom. For some reason I distinctly remember
setting the box of laundry detergent on top of the washer. When Melissa and
I returned to put the load in the dryer, we were shocked to see that the
detergent had been dumped all over the floor and the box was torn to shreds.
Melissa did not have any pets so we assumed her brother was "playing" with
us. We ran up to his room to yell at him. When we got up there he was sound
asleep with his girlfriend so we knew he couldn't have done it.
We decided to clean it up any way, and go to bed. Melissa's bedroom was located
on the second story of her home. As we both lie there awake waiting for sleep
to descend upon us we heard a very scary noise coming through the register.
At first, I laid there thinking it was the air unit, but it sounding like
a whaling or tormented scream. I rolled over to see if Melissa had heard
it as well and she was under the covers crying, repeating "Not again...oh
please, not again!" She then told me that this was not the first time she
had heard the horrible howling.
We both stayed awake, holding each other until 6:00 a.m. when the sun began
to rise. We were startled when her brother opened the door and asked if we
could hear any screaming. He looked very frightened himself.
We felt it would be in our best interest to go to my house until her parents
got home. While we all were getting dressed we noticed the screaming getting
louder and what seemed to be closer. I had had enough and decided to run
home since I lived only a few blocks away. As I was running out of the house,
with Melissa, her brother and her brother's girlfriend in front of me, something
grabbed onto my arm. I didn't even look back, but yanked my arm out of the
grasp of whatever was holding it.
When we got outside I looked at the house one last time and saw something
looking between the blinds in MLE's room. Then remembering my arm, I looked
down and I had 3 scratches that resembled claw marks.
After my Mom had settled us all down, and after Mel's parents had arrived
the told us that the lady that had originally built the house in the 1970's
had died in the home before the construction had been completed. She had
fallen from the second story into the basement, before the railing had been
put on the stairs. The home was to be her dream house. Mel and her family
moved out shortly after that.
I don't ever want to see that house again, not even in a dream.

The Angel of Death?
This experience happened to my mother while she was recovering from a
hysterectomy in Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento California. A few days
after Mom had her surgery, she began to see a dark mass floating in the hallway
between her room and the room across the hall where a very sick woman was
a patient. She could only see it out of the corner of her eye and when she
tried to look straight at it it would vanish. For three days and nights she
saw this black mass floating in the hallway. On the forth day she heard "Code
Blue Code Blue" over the intercom and heard a commotion in the hall as the
doctors and nurses went into the sick woman's room pulling their equipment
behind them. That woman died. During the remainder of mom's stay in the hospital
Mom never saw that black mass in the hall way again.
